Cyndy Marks is a certified speech language pathologist with over twenty-two years of experience in the field of speech language pathology. She earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Speech Language Pathology at Florida State University in 1992 and 1993, and has provided treatment to clients in the public and private schools, acute care (hospital), sub-acute care, skilled nursing, home health and private clinic settings. Cyndy's experiences as a speech therapist, combined with her experiences as a small business owner and consultant for physicians and medical practices, contributed to her vision of what a private speech therapy clinic should be. Cyndy envisioned a place where skilled clinicians who have an uncompromising love for the job they do could come together. She imagined a comfortable, inviting place where clients and caregivers could feel welcome, and clients could receive dynamic, effective treatment from competent therapists. The first step in bringing these visions to life was the opening of Southeastern Therapy Services in 2009.
Cyndy and her husband, Lee, are both life-long Tallahassee residents.
In the time since Southeastern Therapy Services first opened its doors, it has grown to be the region's largest private outpatient speech therapy practice. In June, 2012, STS opened its first satellite clinic in Crawfordville, Florida.

When not working, Cyndy enjoys camping with her husband, Lee, and their 4-legged kids: Maximus Aurelius, Charlie Baron, Gracie Loo and Winnie Sue. As a life-long resident of Tallahassee and graduate of Florida State University, Cyndy is an enthusiastic supporter of FSU athletics and academic programs.
